IIRC those travel privileges were suspended by executive order. Student visas were initially exempt but that changed Monday.

This action has left universities scrambling to find a work around at a time when they are already stressed to find a general back to school plan.
The order is misguided and beyond idiotic as is much of our leadership on Covid....

Looks like some UK clubs will have some pretty strong crews for next summer then!

Rowing is back to some degree , racing the way we know it is not.

Quite likely and I can also see it being a much more appreciated event for atmosphere and support for local crews in the grandstands. I can imagine the Stewards reviewing their policy of generous subsidies to international crews in the future as a result.
