As reported today, the majority of Texas A&M's men's swim/dive team have been suspended for the fall semester over hazing allegations as well:

I've seen BC rowing on the Charles River every day, and everything seems great. It is a well-managed program led by dedicated individuals.

Didn’t intend to suggest anything was going on with the BC rowing team. Wondering how common this may be in rowing generally.

this seems to be more prevalent in swim programs in last couple decades.
