A 2V8 and 4 win over Tulsa is not evidence masterful coaching.
There are probably at least 12-15 high school Eights in the US that would beat Tulsa's 2V8. Let's keep things in perspective.

Re: Coaching Carousel 2023
I wonder what level of 'sophistication' and 'science' is needed to counter less heavy weights and intensity and still be successful. While I am sure the mental health of Ohio State rowers has improved in recent years, the programs winning days are certainly over. But in their heyday, high school stu...

Re: Rowing benefactor Sean Colgan explains why he no longer supports US ROWING
Looks like an expensive report. Who paid for it? Seems the money would be better spent on coaching programs designed to get more women in coaching roles, especially head coaching positions or funding women’s rowing programs or the women’s national team. What is the personal price a victim pays for ...

Re: Spring 2024
I think having regionals duals or tri-meets for D3 qualification would come across a lot more palatable for the IRA than the bad look this presents.

Re: Coaching Carousel 2023
There are definitely announcements not yet public but are being dispersed quietly at the moment.
Seems crazy that coaches are already been told they won't be renewed at season end. But I guess it gives the coaches a chance to make a transition.

Re: Fall 2023 / Spring 2024
Anyone know what the conditions are like at Wheeler? I have never been there. Are the lanes fair? Is it just me, or does it seem like they have the expected faster crews in the higher numbered lanes? The odds of Tennessee, Penn and Syracuse being in lanes 4, 5, 6 and 7 for most (all?) of their race...

I'm not fighting anyone's battles. Maybe Teti deserves to be blackballed. I just want to know the 'why'.Long'n Strong wrote: ↑Tue Apr 23, 2024 8:07 pm Does Mike Teti need "crewu" to fight his battles for him?
If it is something that bad then why is USRowing covering it up like the Catholic Church hiding a pedo priest?

Re: US Squad and Racing
USRowing is just looking for someone for the long run. BS. They could pick someone and announce them right now. Nothing stopping them. In a fair system, a coach prepares and produces the fastest crews. That coach gets named an Olympic coach. So, by black balling Teti it sends the message that USRow...

Recent results? Show me the USA coaches preparing men's sweep rowers who are outperforming Teti's CRC squad.
Are you going to dump the 4 years of Tim McLaren on Teti? How about McGee's 4 years. That on Teti too?
