Aw, c'mon man. We know it's all about the Benjamins. Capital consolidation is what is best for rowing in America. Power Five forevah (well, maybe not the Pac-12).

Excellent rowing coverage
I'm confused. Regattas that I use to watch for free are now $10/month on Overnght? Love the IRA Rowing Insiders, which does not require joining Overnght. But only USRowing events are free? Anyone on which are the toughest events? and who qualifies? The eight looks the easiest, the double should be okay along with the light double. That Austrian eight: Gabriel Stekl stroking, BU '23, son of Phil ("Otto") and Inge -- rowing genetics.

Re: Fixing splashing from finish to catch
You could switch and row in the bow. (jk) Balance drills at hands away/body prep(aka pivot) every 2 or 3 strokes for a couple a minutes. Variations include height check (go from feathered to square-feather) before moving into the front turn. Stationary release drills (taps) at the hands away; one va...

We see that every once in awhile at Quinsigamond. The shape of the lake means the video boat is always on the Shrewsbury shore. Easterly winds flip the course and everyone gets a much better view of what's going on with the lead crews. Drones sometime in the near future?

GB M- 1:34s resolve from race data (1:34.26 for 500m => 5.304 m/s .. 5.5 m/s is computed from the 50m interval data .. 0.9644 is applied to the data to produce the speed line). Tactical speed variation? or just affected by gusts? They rate 36 for 1000m, so probably gusts.
