Transitioning
I am looking to transition from coxing to coaching - do you all have any suggestions to get me on track? I've been coxing for almost 10 years now and have experience with college, masters, and some junior crews. Any advice?

Re: Transitioning
How's that transition going?
I think you're probably doing all right if you're working as an assistant under a mentor coach. Coxswains ought to know most of the on-the-water stuff and a good deal of the off-the-water stuff coaches need to know anyway. Administrivia, the particulars of aerobic training, trailer driving, etc. should be somewhat new.
