Looking for some new workouts
I'm coaching a masters mens 4+ and I'd love to hear some workouts from other people! What's your favorite workout for the sprint season? These guys are fairly new (most were novices last year) and are in there late 40s.

That is such a loaded question.
Really depends on what standard they are, if they still have lots of skill based improvement to gain then lots of SS and with tech drills and maybe some low rate builders thrown in for good measure such as 60min SS with 5x12 strokes at 20-28
If they have the rowing basics down pat and row well enough to get a work out then you can do race specific training based on 1k's (i assume that is the masters race distance)
nothing special in how you coach masters over anyone else, just normally a bit less total mileage and perhaps more power based work outs to counter that lost as a result of Age
