realize the reason ordinary citizens voted this way is because they don't want to be aligned with people like this:

almost 600,000 more ordinary citizens voted for the loser.

the loser also won the vote of those who make under $50,000 a year (i.e. US median income)

Votes are not done being counted buddy, this published yesterday "She had 59,755,284 votes, according to CNN's tally, with 92% of the expected vote counted. Trump had 59,535,522. That difference of 219,762 is razor-thin considering the nearly 120 million votes counted so far. The totals will continue to change as absentee votes trickle in." (source: http://www.cnn.com/2016/11/09/politics/ ... pular-vote). CNN did tweet earlier this week Trump is projected to win the popular vote but has since claimed that projection was a "design flaw". Maybe the final count will come in after these riots simmer down... $h!t, Trump has already created jobs for the under $50000 crowd since many of these protestors are getting getting paid (http://archive.is/GCKun), and he's not even in office yet! wew...

Also of note on your infographic is the inclusion of "no answer" and "other" in the same column. Do you really believe the accuracy/honesty of these polls by these news outlets after how wrong they have been for the whole year? Awhile ago a statistics teacher told our class "figures don't lie, but liars can figure".

But you didn't address (or maybe understand...) the point of my original post. People - apparently a lot of them - find it morally questionable to back a candidate like Her Majesty when she is working with the likes of George Soros. I find it sad that many of my peers sit in their echo chambers and call half of the voting population stupid, dumb, uneducated, etc. and those who vote (not riot, don't recall any of those when Obama got elected) for what they believe in get ostracized and labeled in a way that socially isolates them. Who are the real fascists in that scenario?

i am just looking at the number of votes & which candidate got more & the (approaching) 600,000 is more than the Bush v Gore gap in 2000

regardless though, the only thing I find appalling is how few of our eligible voters actually vote.

compulsory voting (a la Australia, Belgium and others) should be considered. the non-voters, as a bloc, could have elected anyone they wanted (in theory)

That data is from exit polls, not predictive polls.

soros made money off the bank of england being bad economists. so what? it's laughable to argue that someone "associating" with soros is worse than someone like trump who is a complete and utter fraud who plays to the worst of greed and intolerance.

Are you trying to draw equivalence of Trumps birther BS (which was political calculus) to violent riots? That's not what the majority of people voting for Trump believe but it definitely got him a bunch of media air time and into the public conscious in the lead up to his run for the office.

As far as "grab them by the pussy" goes, hilldog was cool with slick willy getting domed up by an intern while in the whitehouse (I can only imagine what else was going on in that department of his presidential duties). Don't be naive...

Do 5 minutes of googling about Soros or watch the 60 minutes interview I provided a link to and it's obvious it's not his bet against the bank of England that makes Soros an amoral individual.

You have some good points, but like sandor you need better sources (did you notice that exit poll has 34% making over 100K.) If you are interested in a decent postmortem of the election https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VWMmBG3Z4DI. Here is a related lecture with a global bent https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kd2d4_LcEig. Mark Blyth is a former professor and has a way of making the most mundane entertaining and relevant.

Looks like Americans may be trying to mount a comeback on this one. Incredible that Brexit was also four years ago and still hasn't really been sorted out.
