Most Accurate Non-Strap HRM? User tips?

Post by boston_1x »

Hi all... the latest batch of wrist, earbud, ring, adhesive patch HRM sensors... any really good experiences, re accuracy when heart rate starts elevating & there's sweat on the wrist?

Reason for asking... sort of disappointed in the FitBit Versa 2.

Most interested in consistency/accuracy at AT, AnT rates...

Thoughts?

Really like the polar OH1. Not a wrist sensor, but upper forearm. Accurate for rowing.

Apple Watch is not bad, but loses the plot now and then.

Agree with this, the Polar OH1 (armband) and apple watch (wrist) seem to be the most accurate - for me the apple watch is the better of the two and tracks my HR all the way up to HIIT pieces at high rates, however both seem to behave better on the erg than on water for me and although they are good they aren't perfect - a chest belt is still the gold standard
