Well... Hmm. Back in the mid 90s I was offered a coaching job in a NY (the state) men's college program - head coach - at $21kUS/annum. I turned it down.

So where in the coaching hierarchy is Pojo? 1st Assistant/Associate Head Coach? 2nd Assistant? 3rd??

Zing. Varsity experience with a top program is acceptable for vetted hires at the assistant level, but the youth and lack of any other experience would also give me pause. Still, maybe he can hack it.

I've seen rowing clubs hire competitive masters coaches with one semester's worth of varsity rowing experience and a throwaway summer camp coaching gig. This seems at least better than that.
