Coaching Carousel 2022
Re: Coaching Carousel 2022
Yeah my phone just pinged on it,
At this time Kerber is no longer in his position
I am definitely caught off guard by this as Kerber was a really successful coach. My interactions with him were always positive.

NT was looking for coaches right. Any chance he got the itch?
Re: Coaching Carousel 2022
I think a course of antibiotics clears that itch right up.

Gotta love the care some Institutions take with gone coaching staff: "It looks like you're lost ..."
Re: Coaching Carousel 2022
Anyone know why Kerber is out?

Apparently not even the team knows: https://www.instagram.com/p/ClOqUNHuHEm/
Someone posted this to reddit. The post seems to indicate there hasn't been contact between Kerber and the team, and states the AD confirmed it wasn't disciplinary or health related. It also says, "relieved of duties", so not him stepping away.
I'm not sure what this leaves. Would not meeting internal goals such as fundraising be considered disciplinary? I have a hard time imagining that the program is in jeopardy

Minnesota women were top 25 in cmax. That's hardly getting nowhere.
And the top 20 on the ncaa side is definitely more of a challenge to crack than consistent A finalist at ACRA
Not sure how much stock I would put into the Cmax "rankings"
Cmax is usually pretty good.
Cmax is nice, but I would say hardly accurate. End of the season rankings for women had Bucknell at 20...oh yeah, one spot ahead of Minnesota.

Re: Coaching Carousel 2022
Wow. Can't imagine him retiring--what's next? USRA HP or NT coaching? He could be a huge contributor.
